For over 25 years, Blue Collar K-9 Training Center has helped Maine dog owners turn stress, frustration, and confusion into confidence and control—without gimmicks or quick fixes.
Blue Collar K-9 Training Center is owned and operated by Patrick Lavallée, a second-generation dog trainer with more than 25 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and challenges.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. Every dog is different—and every family is different. Our approach focuses on structure, clarity, and balance, helping dogs understand expectations while helping owners build real leadership and confidence.

Our state-licensed and inspected facility provides a safe, controlled environment where dogs can learn, exercise, socialize, and develop reliable habits that last long after training is complete. Our program includes more then just obedience training. We also focus on manners, exercise and socialization. We are dedicated to creating a sense of stability and balance. By doing so we can achieve both obedience as well as behavioral goals.

Owner/Lead Trainer – Blue Collar K-9 Training Center
Patrick Lavallee is a second-generation dog trainer with over 25 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges. As the owner and lead trainer of Blue Collar K-9 Training Center, he has helped hundreds of Maine dog owners build calmer, more reliable relationships with their dogs.
Patrick’s training philosophy is built on clear communication, consistency, and leadership. He believes every dog is an individual and that lasting results come from helping owners understand how their actions and energy affect their dog’s behavior.
In addition to his experience as a professional dog trainer, Patrick is also a certified life coach, allowing him to work not only with dogs, but with the people behind them. This unique perspective helps create trust, understanding, and results that carry over into everyday life.
Patrick remains directly involved in every training program at the state-licensed and inspected Blue Collar K-9 Training Center, ensuring each dog receives personalized attention and each owner leaves with the confidence to maintain results long-term.
